A Patriot...Not A Politician

Dear Neighbor,

In this day and age, time is very valuable. Thank you for taking the time to visit my campaign website. By doing so, you are taking an interest in the future of California. Therefore, it is my privilege to share with you my vision for our region and state.

California has long been a place of hope. It is a place to come and build a life. Recently, that dream has been made increasingly more difficult by financial challenges facing both our state and its citizens. Yet, as I travel through the district speaking with local residents, I definitely envision a great future ahead for us.  I still see that the entrepreneurial spirit that has always driven our success is alive.

The challenge ahead for all of us is embracing that powerful, entrepreneurial spirit and aiding its growth. Our financial success, our education, and our ability to maintain a safe environment for our citizens are all dependent on getting California back on track. This is why I am running as your Assemblyman for the 80th district with three imperative goals in mind:

First, we must return jobs to Riverside and Imperial Counties. We need to remove the barriers of growth to existing businesses and attract more industry to our region.

Second, we must control our budget. In the midst of all the partisan arguing and politics occurring in Sacramento, the politicians seem to have forgotten a simple skill that you and I use everyday - managing a checkbook. If we do not get control of our spending, we will not overcome the current economic crisis.

Third, we must work towards making government more efficient by focusing our spending on the vital areas where it is needed most. Education and public safety are two of those areas. Too much taxpayer money is wasted to the detriment of the essential services our government should be providing for its people.

As your Assemblyman, I pledge to work everyday on behalf of my fellow citizens to achieve these goals. With your help, we can make California great again. I genuinely appreciate your support.

Sincerely,

Steve Sanchez
